Buddy visits Utah to see Senior!

A message from Buddy...
Hi! I have arrived in Utah. While here I saw the fall leaves in the Canyon with my new friends Senior and Amigo. I also went and helped my friend Senior teach his third grade class about NF, during show and teach.

Buddy visited Nic (and Big Ben) in England!

During Buddy's visit, he stayed with Nic. He went to see Nic's school and tell all the children about NF. Nic was very excited about showing his friends the NF Buddies book. On Buddy's last day, they went to London and saw Big Ben. When the rain had stopped, Buddy and Nic had their photos taken and then they all went for a nice lunch at Nic's favorite restaurant.

Tristan and Buddy were on the NEWS!

During Buddy's visit with Tristan in New York, they attended preschool, made the newspaper & television news, attended the Jump-n-Jane Day in their town and enjoyed the Memorial weekend with some of Tristan's cousins visiting from N.C!

I'm in Germany

After a really long flight from San Franciso and a stop in London I have arrived in Stuttgart, Germany. My British Auntie is taking me to see her nephew Nico and Nieces Patricia and Kelly. Lots of strange words around the place -- perhaps I should have practiced more German, oh well.. seems like my British Auntie can speak for me!! Today we all went out for ice cream in a town called Esslingen.

Lots of things are going on right now - yesterday I went to stay with my new British foster-auntie we ate chip (French fries) sandwiches for tea - a very British thing to do!
I am off to Germany and England in October.... and I'll write more on my travels

Local newspaper writes about Buddy & Gloria

During Buddy's visit to Arkansas, he went to school with Gloria. He had his picture made with her austism teacher and principal. They also went to the public library and an article about the visit was written in their newspaper!

Destiny's friends think Buddy is cool!

During Buddy's visit to Destiny's house in Virginia, they went to church together. He also went to school with her and met all her friends. Destiny's friends thought it was "so cool" that Buddy traveled all over to see kids just like her.

Belle & Buddy in Michigan

During Buddy's visit, he went with Belle for her weekly chemo treatment and even took a nap there with her! He got to experience typical Michigan weather with one day at 80 degrees and the next at 45 degrees!

Buddy is in New Zealand visiting Amber

During Buddy's first visit to New Zealand, he went to Amber's school. Amber's mum talked to the class about NF using the Buddy book. Buddy also went to church where Amber and her mum told the congregation about NF and Buddy the Bear.

Buddy visits with Tanner and Tucker

During Buddy's visit, he mostly played race cars with Tanner and his little brother, Tucker. Buddy also went with Tanner to preschool, Aikido, and to an MRI.
Tanner's family also adds, "Thanks for coming to Georgia!"

During Buddy's visit, he enjoyed spending time with me and my family. We played games, read books, played with playdough and ate dinner. Buddy's favorite activity was playing "school." He is very smart! I will surely miss my friend, Buddy.

Buddy & J.J. witness year's first snow storm!

During Buddy's NJ visit, Buddy slept and watched tv with J.J. while he was home from school. Buddy was also able to see their first snowstorm of the year! He watched J.J. build a snowman and have a snowball fight. Afterwards, they had hot chocolate to warm up. J.J. loved having Buddy visit.

Buddy spends a memorable week with Caitlyn

While Buddy was visiting Caitlyn's family, he went with her to her MRI. They visited Caitlyn's chemo clinic and played instruments with a music therapist. Buddy also got to take a tour of a local tv station, and watch the news being made. He even made an appearance on T.V. and in the newspaper!

During the visit, Joshua and Buddy played and hung out. They also went to Chuck E Cheese and met Chuckie. They even went to big brother and big sister basketball games and practice. Joshua had a great time with Buddy!

Jenna & Buddy go to school in Illinois

During Buddy's Illinois visit, he went with Jenna to school and visited the kids in her low vision kindergarten. Buddy also went to physical therapy at Easter Seals and jumped in the therapy cage with her. He was well loved throughout his visit!

During Buddy's visit, he went with Cullen and Evan to the Crayola Factory in Easton, PA. Cullen and Buddy had fun crafting. Buddy also got to meet Cullen's Great Grandparents! They had a lot of fun together!

During Buddy's Tennessee visit, he went with Madelon to the neurologist. They also visited the Sunsphere from the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville. He helped Madelon win a prize at the arcade and also enjoyed playing with Madelon at home!

Buddy played doctor with Emma

During Buddy's visit, he helped Emma play doctor AND celebrate her 4th birthday. He attended the party and was amazed at all of the presents - plus the cake and ice cream! Buddy also helped her family with the Christmas tree!

Ian & Buddy watch Christmas movies together

During Buddy's visit, he played with Ian, and they watched Christmas movies together.
The picture shows Ian and his dad - both who have NF. Ian's dad was the first in his family to be diagnosed. Ian and older sister, Emma, also have NF. The three of them are all doing great and are very happy.

Buddy and Austin get ready for the holidays!

During Buddy's visit to Florida, Buddy and Austin got to help get the house ready for Thanksgiving. They ate a huge plate of turkey - and extras! Then afterwards, Austin and Buddy went to pick out a Christmas tree and helped decorate it!

Buddy went with Lia to school on day 1

During Buddy's visit, he took Lia to her first day of school! He also got to go horseback riding and helped Lia feel better when she was sick. (Buddy was even dressed in his full doctor gear at the time.) He enjoyed playing with Lia's babies and kittens, but his very favorite thing was having his very own carseat so he could travel everywhere with her family - safely.

Buddy was on TV

During Buddy's visit, he went for a ride on the Skytrain, visited Children's hospital for a check up with Max, and appeared on TV during a visit to Max's class! Buddy also went to Tim Horton's and Boston Pizza, two of Max's favorite places.

"He also loved just being my best Buddy all week."
Wherever Landon went, Buddy was sure to go.
And, on the back of the postcard, Landon's mom added a great sentiment....
"We've cleaned up our River, now Landon is looking for us to clear up NF."

During Buddy's visit, he went to the hospital with Ryan for his MRI and went on a family road trip to Saskatchewan. Buddy also got to meet a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and had his picture taken with him. Unfortunately, it was right after he wrote Ryan's mom a speeding ticket!

Buddy visited Ethan in New South Wales AUSTRALIA!!!

During Buddy's visit, he went to school with Ethan where they looked at the NF Buddies book. Buddy also went to the annual NF Family Camp at Milson's Island where he got to do fun things such as archery, rock climbing, boomerang throwing, and fencing. Ethan also went canoeing on the river - but not Buddy - in case he got wet.

Buddy @ Elisha & Amber's house for back to school season!

During Buddy's Texas visit, he went to the dentist to watch Amber get cavities filled. He watched the girls enroll in school and met their friends and teachers. And, he even got to meet the most important person in the girls' lives when they are sick. Buddy not only got to see their doctor, he had a check up too!
So, now we have proof that Buddy is a healthy bear! He has been well loved and is excited to meet more NF Buddies!

BUDDY and PRESTON were IN MICHIGAN at the Capitol building in Lansing!

During Buddy's visit with Preston's family, he attended the "Woodward Dream Cruise" where classic cars gather annually to cruise along Woodward Ave from Detroit to Pontiac. Buddy also helped to send-off Preston on his 1st day of kindergarten. They attended a teddy bear picnic together and visited their state Capitol in Lansing, Michigan.

During Buddy's visit with Rosie and Genna, Buddy rode into New York city, went to Rosie's 5 year doctor checkup, visited the Delaware River, and met the Rutger's Football Team at the RU Fan Fest! Genna and Rosie LOVED Buddy!

During Buddy's visit with Ashley, he hung out at the Van's Warped Tour at the Gorge in George, WA! Buddy got to be on stage with a lot of different bands and heard some great music! He also had his picture taken with Amber Pacific, Ashley's very favorite band!

"During Buddy's visit he slept in my arms. He came to our campsite, sat on the beach, had a bike ride, went to the park, and enjoyed the campfire. He also visited Fort Henry in Kingstons, Ontario, Canada."

Victor takes Buddy to US Space & Rocket Center

What a wonderful - and educational - trip Buddy has been having!
During Buddy's visit to Alabama, he and Victor went to the US Space and Rocket Center. Victor's mom brought Buddy to Victor's 2nd grade class and read "NF Buddies." The visit was even in the "Huntsville Times" newspaper!

Buddy is Sooo Busy at Gigi's

During Buddy's visit to Gigi's house, he was a VERY BUSY BEAR! He went to the pool, watched GiGi "DIVE" off the diving board, and then ate a snow cone (he didn't really eat it!) Later Buddy went "back to school" shopping and got some cool new clothes (not really, just pretend.) Finally Buddy went with GiGi's family to the Columbus Museum of Art in Ohio. At the museum Buddy was able to interact with the artwork of Ohio artists Elijah Pierce and George Bellows. Buddy was great company and a very welcome guest at Gigi's home!!

Buddy does! He was just there visiting Seth. During Buddy's visit he went to Occupational Therapy, day camp, the park, and the Twins festival. Seth and Buddy had a great time watching the parade and having pictures taken with all of the twins!

Buddy Watched Fireworks with Wyatt & Family

During Buddy's Utah visit, Buddy watched fireworks with Wyatt and his family. They also had a big picnic. Wyatt took Buddy to his farm and rode horses. During the week, they also went to a lot of parks!

We just heard from Buddy's new friend Amber!!! It sounds like they had an exciting week!
During Buddy's visit, he played with Amber and visited the land between the lakes. Buddy also was able to watch eggs being collected from their chickens!

"During Buddy's visit, he spent time with me during my 6 hour injection. He also got to go on a big car ride (in my new car) to Children's Hospital (aka "Kids") and spent my birthday with me."
