Holidays Around the World ~Vacaville, CA~

Sometimes we have this at a hotel and sometimes at someones home.  A variety of crafts are set up at multiple tables. Both adults and children seemed drawn to the bead table the most, creating both beaded jewelry and Christmas tree ornaments. Several dreidels and ornaments were made out of clay and those attending had the opportunity to learn how to play the dreidel game. Coloring was especially popular with the younger crowd while the elementary school children spent much of their time gluing a variety of projects. It didn’t take long for those attending to become fully comfortable with each other and their surroundings. Many of the children preferred crafting on the floor and they gathered in groups, helping each other.
